APP (Atactic Polypropylene) membrane waterproofing uses torch-applied, modified bitumen sheets blended with APP polymers for a durable, seamless, and flexible barrier against water, ideal for roofs, basements, and wet areas by enhancing bitumen's UV resistance and high-temperature performance, applied with heat to bond to surfaces like concrete and brick.

Polymer Modified: Asphalt blended with APP polymer improves elasticity, UV resistance, and resistance to extreme temperatures, notes Tikidan and Asian Paints.
Torch Applied: Heat from a blowtorch melts the bitumen, allowing it to adhere and create a waterproof seal.

How it Works:
Surface Prep: The concrete or substrate is cleaned and primed.
Application: Rolls of APP membrane are unrolled onto the surface.
Torch Welding: A torch is used to heat the underside of the membrane, melting the bitumen, which then fuses to the substrate, creating a continuous, seamless, and waterproof layer.
