X-Tile CTA is a cementitious water resistant flexible single component adhesive for use with natural stone low porosity tiles and for use with X-Shield Sound Stop Mat. It is suitable for use in immersed conditions such as shower, swimming pools, hot tubs etc.

X-Calibur's X-Tile Fix (often referenced alongside X-Tile CTA or similar, depending on the specific grade, such as C1) is a polymer-modified, cementitious tile adhesive designed for fixing ceramic tiles. It is a general-purpose, economical adhesive suitable for internal applications in residential and commercial buildings. 
Description
X-Tile Fix consists of ordinary Portland cement, specially graded aggregates, and long-chain polymer additives, which provide improved adhesion and flexibility compared to standard mortar. It is typically applied in thin-bed, but can also be used in thick-set applications. For enhanced performance, particularly on porous substrates or for higher load requirements, it can be modified with liquid latex (such as X-Tile Latex).

Open Time: Approx. 10 minutes at 30C.
Application Temperature: 5C to 40C.
Shelf Life: 12 months when stored below 25C in a dry environment. 
Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation: Substrates must be sound, clean, and free from contaminants like dust, paint, and oil.
Mixing: Mix with clean water (approx. 6.25L per 25kg bag for thick set, or as needed for consistency).
Application: Apply using a notched trowel, ensuring not to spread more than 0.5m² at a time to prevent premature drying.
Joints: A minimum 2mm gap should be left around every tile.
Grouting: Can typically be done 24 to 48 hours after tile installation. 
Note: For porcelain or vitrified tiles, the use of X-Tile Bond or higher-grade X-Calibur products (such as X-Tile STA) is recommended.
