1. IntroductionPolypropylene fibre (PPF) is a kind of linear polymersynthetic fibre obtained from propylene polymerization. Ithas some advantages such as light weight, high strength, hightoughness, and corrosion resistance. ,e PPF is widely usedin chemical industry, energy, clothing, environmentalprotection, and construction [1–6]. In the constructionindustry, concrete has the disadvantages of low tensilestrength, weak deformation resistance, and poor crack resistance. ,e microcracks are easily produced from theoutside to the inside, which increase the permeability of theconcrete. Water or other harmful ions easily enter the interior of the concrete and accelerate the deterioration of theconcrete [7]. When PPF is added in concrete, the threedimensional random distribution network structure can beformed in concrete, which effectively inhibit the microcrackgeneration and development [8–11]. As a result, the PPF canprevent water and other harmful ions entering into concrete.,e durability of concrete can be improved by adding PPF[4, 12–14]. Due to the excellent properties, PPF can be usedin architectural engineering, pavement engineering, andhydraulic engineering [7, 15–17]. In architectural engineering, the foundation construction of high-rise buildingneeds to be poured mass concrete at one time. ,e massconcrete is easy to produce thermal cracks at the early age[18, 19]. ,e PPF can effectively reduce the temperaturecracks of the concrete [20]. Moreover, the resist-permeability of the concrete can be enhanced by adding PPFs dueto less through cracks in the concrete [12, 21]. In pavementengineering, pavement often bears the impact load of vehicles, which requires good toughness and crack resistance, especially the pavement with large traffic volume or heavyloading traffic [22, 23]. ,e PPF-reinforced concrete hasbetter toughness than the plain concrete [24, 25]. When PPFis used in concrete, the toughness of pavement can besignificantly strengthened [7]. Meanwhile, less creaks areemerged under impact load of vehicles, indicating that thedurability of pavement is enhanced by using PPFs in concrete [26, 27]. Hydraulic engineering, such as the bridge.
